Rep. Alan Grayson’s assault on our ding-dong red-nosed crazy clown car of a health system – calling the death of 45,000 Americans each year from lack of coverage a “holocaust” – was truly an inaccurate choice of words. Holocausts, if you go by small-H definitions, is mass death via disasters and war. It also confuses garden variety holocausts with The Holocaust.
A better choice? Negligent manslaughter, by the insurance companies, in the conservatory.
